Maybe if you have some skill(s) like knowledge of Linux, website design or flower arranging etc etc, you could boost your income by teaching others things people are interested in by registering at the School of Everything or a similiar website.
Set your own rate(hourly?).
Alternatively, why not learn a skill from the above to boost your income.
